Our organic apple orchards and agritourism in the heart of Trentino
Apple orchards are the symbol of the region. They have been cultivated in the area for centuries. Fully immersed in Trentino's countryside, Agriturismo La Casa Gialla, is an off-the-grid authentic Italian agritourism, situated on a small organic apple farm covering an area of 9 hectares.

In harmony with the environment
For us, growing apples in a sustainable eco-friendly way has been a true craft that has been passed down from generation to generation. It all started back in 1999 and since then living in harmony with our surroundings has been our priority. That’s why for the last 23 years, we have been operating as a fully certified organic farm, completely avoiding chemical products and using 100% eco-friendly practices.

Every season in our farm is unique

Winters in Trentino are cold and snowy. This is when our agritourism and our farm are covered in white. Apple trees lose their leaves, and this signals the beginning of pruning season.

Spring is one of the most beautiful and delicate periods of the year. In late spring, nature awakens and so do our apple trees. This is when our guests can enjoy our orchards in full bloom.

Summers in Trentino are gentle and warm. Apple fields become more colourful as apples start making their first appearance while late summer marks the start of harvest season. It’s the perfect time for sunny walks around the farm.

Autumn time is harvest time. Our farm is full of red and yellowish apples that are ready to be picked. Guests can enjoy the unique flavour of our different apple varieties such as Golden Delicious or Royal Gala among others, as well as their nutritional benefits.
Our apple varieties
Our orchard offers a range of apple varieties. While some are more famous than others, we grow apples in every colour and taste.

Golden Delicious apples are sweet and juicy. Their aromatic scent and crunchy texture make them an ideal snack while their distinctively sweet flavour is great for desserts. As the name indicates, their colour is deep yellow or golden.
Gala apples are sweet and low in acidity. They are ideal for a breakfast muesli, pies, or salads while they can easily be combined with gingery flavours, wine, and cheese. Their colour is beautiful, a mix of orange and red with a yellow background.

Story Inored apples belong to a relatively new variety, resistant to parasites, and they grow mainly in Southern Europe. Their vivid red colour and their intense flavour with barely any acidity give them a distinctive character.

Pink Lady apples belong to one of the most well-known apple varieties across the world. Their sweet crispy flavour makes them an ideal pairing for salads or cheese.

Modi apples are mainly cultivated in Italy. They belong to a modern, eco-friendly variety and they are known for their juicy texture and intense flavour.

Fuji apples, originally from Japan, are some of the sweetest apples -if not the sweetest! Their bold taste and juiciness make them the perfect snack.

Braeburn have a sweet and sour flavour and their colour with different shades of yellow, orange and red make them unique. They are ideal for cooking or snacking.
